In Upper Puget Sound: Full-service planners and month-of coordinators work both counties, based in Bellingham, in the Skagit Valley, and in the Seattle–Everett corridor to the south. Two kinds of experience are worth paying for specifically here. The first is a coordinator who already knows your venue’s rain plan — an open-sided barn or a bluff-top lawn in September is a different problem from a ballroom, and knowing it in advance is most of the job. The second, if you have guests coming from British Columbia, is someone who has run a cross-border guest list before and will build the border wait into your timeline rather than discover it on the day.
