What we collect

If you submit an email address or a listing-update request, we collect what you enter to respond and, where you opt in, to send occasional updates. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic in aggregate.

Listing confirmations and nominations

If you confirm a business's listing, we collect your name, your email and the business you confirmed. If you nominate a vendor, we collect your name, your email, your wedding date and location, and your one-sentence reason. We use this only to check that the submission is genuine and to run the SM4E Verified and SM4E MVP programs.

We publish a nomination reason only if you ticked the box allowing it, and then only with your first name and wedding month and year: never your surname or email address. We keep the record behind each badge for as long as that badge is counted, plus three years, so we can show how it was earned.

Emails

If you ask to be told when couples' wedding pages launch, we'll email you about that. Vendors who confirm a listing receive a confirmation with their badge. Every email can be stopped by replying "remove", and we honour that permanently.

Links to other sites

Some links take you to other sites, such as Etsy or Amazon. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may use cookies, including to credit us when a purchase follows a link.

We don't sell your information

We never sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the services that run this site and its email, and only to provide them.

Vendor information

Listings contain business contact information compiled from open and public sources. If you are a vendor and want your entry corrected or removed, use the listing form.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete anything you submitted by writing to hello@sm4eweddingplanner.com.
