What SM4E Verified means
A listing marked SM4E Verified has been confirmed by the business itself. We checked the entry against their public website, then someone at the business told us the name, location and contact details are right.
12 businesses have verified so far. We're just getting started.
What it changes
Verified listings appear first in their category, with the mark beside the name. Every other listing keeps its usual order behind them.
What it doesn't mean
Verified is about accurate details, not quality. It isn't a review, an award or an endorsement. Every business in the directory is there on its own merits, and placement can't be bought: verifying is free. Where our listings come from →
Next: SM4E MVP, chosen by couples
Verified is the first step. SM4E MVP is the next one, and vendors can't earn it themselves: couples nominate the vendors who made their wedding spectacular and memorable. Every approved nomination moves a vendor up, and their listing shows the badge they've earned.

Badges will appear, and the listing will move higher on the list, after a nomination is received and verified. Tiers reflect nominations from weddings in the last 36 months, so the badges always describe a vendor's recent work. A vendor's lifetime total of couple nominations is shown too, and never goes down.
Are you a listed vendor?
If we've emailed you, use the confirm link in that email. It takes about a minute. Otherwise, open your listing here and tick "show my listing as confirmed by the business." Either way you get the badge for your own website.
Then tell your couples. A nomination from a couple you've worked with is the only way up the MVP ladder. Share this link with them: sm4eweddingplanner.com/mvp/nominate. You can ask, but please don't offer anything in return. Nominations that were paid for, discounted or swapped for a favour aren't counted.
