Salt Lake City, Utah
Music & Entertainment
In Salt Lake City: Amplified sound here is a permission, not an assumption. In a Salt Lake City park it needs separate approval on top of the ceremony permit, and canyon and resort sites commonly set their own curfews and volume limits, so ask for those in writing before you book an act that needs volume to work. Power is the other constraint: outdoor and blank-slate sites over the divide may offer little more than a household circuit, so ask what the act draws and who is supplying the generator. A two-site day means you are booking two things rather than one, ceremony musicians for the first location and a DJ or band for the second, and only one of them needs a full sound system. Build the drive between the two into the run of show, and add margin if that drive crosses a canyon in winter, when the road can close ahead of the weather rather than during it.
