In Miami: Between $2,000 and $7,000 buys very different rooms depending on what you ask for. Tropical material — orchids, monstera, palm, heliconia — is close to local, holds up in heat, and costs a fraction of the temperate blooms most couples arrive wanting. Peonies and garden roses are flown in and priced accordingly, and they are also the flowers least able to survive an afternoon outdoors in this climate.
