Wedding Planner / Coordinator

In Washington, DC: The case for a coordinator here is paperwork rather than taste. Twelve are listed, in Leesburg, Poolesville, Alexandria and Silver Spring. The license counters are what catches couples out, because each one behaves differently. Virginia expects both applicants to appear together in person; Prince William issues by appointment only and allows a notarized affidavit where one party cannot appear; Loudoun offers a virtual appearance, but only where the ceremony is in Loudoun or one party lives there. Montgomery County needs only one of you at the counter but takes applications until 3:45 p.m. against an office that stays open until 4:30 p.m., and Alexandria and Arlington both tell walk-ins to arrive by 3:30 p.m. In the District, expect the Marriage Bureau to reach out within five business days of your application with a payment link, and allow at least ten business days after the license issues if you want the court to perform the ceremony. Prince George's County publishes a fee this annex could not verify, so ask the clerk rather than assuming a neighbor's price.
