Cabrillo National Monument wants 21 business days' notice and caps its site at 100 guests with no amplified sound at all. San Diego County's Deputy Marriage Commissioner program needs an application at least a month ahead of the ceremony. None of that is difficult on its own, but missing one deadline can cost you the date entirely, especially on a lottery site. A full-service planner booked a year out, or a month-of coordinator brought in nearer your date, is the vendor most likely to keep these on a calendar so you don't have to.
